Today's show is appropriately named Back in the Saddle again...

It's been a minute, and I give thanks to all of you who have stayed subscribed, whatever your reason. Real life (RL) has made it very difficult lately to get a good quality show out, but I'm determined to come thru for you the podcast listener. (as well as my own sanity!)

With that in mind, this show is a bit shorter than usual, and pretty much devoted to Part 2 of my interview earlier this year with singer/songriter Robin Stine of Pensacola, Florida whose latest CD DAYDREAM has been very well received. We talk about her relationship to Podcasting, and her thoughts on the subject. She shares with us what it takes to be a truly independent artist, and other insights she's gained on her artistic journey. It was a great pleasure speaking with her, and I'm sure you'll enjoy our chat as much as I did...

It’s sunday and time for a new show. Today we bring you The Poetry Show. We focus on
poetry and related things starting with a reading we did on Saturday night. We also

and play The Mack Man. Also Jill Scott, a no show at The Poetry Center: what happened?
The San Quentin Poetry Slam, Garland remembers traffic court: the day he channeled
Clarence Darrow, and our end of show wrap up.

Todays featured poets include:

Mack Dennis a.k.a. The Mack Man, and his CD,
‘The Mack Man, Spoken Poems by Poet Mack Dennis’

Track 7 – “LA County, California”
Track 11 – “Dream Thief”

available at: http://cdbaby.com/cd/mackdennis

and

Mike McGee, from his CD, ‘The Mighty Mike McGee’

Track 11 – BMX

available at http://www.mikemcgee.net/

That’s it for this week. Hope you enjoy the show. Take care, and try to have some fun this
week. Go see some live poetry, and some theatre too. You won’t regret it.

Until next week, my nizzles!

Peace,
Garland T
